Please note that you will still be able to receive inbound faster payments during maintenance, but any outbound faster payments will be delayed until after the system maintenance is complete.

We apologise for any inconvenience. Systems do need maintenance and our partners do their best to keep these to a minimum.

Scheduled - As previously advised there will be a major upgrade to the speed and reliability of our payments system taking place this weekend.

For Inbound bank transfers, there will be an outage on Friday 10 January at 17:00 where these will not be processed and will bounce back to the sender (never crediting the Countingup account). We estimate this outage will last for 10 minutes. Although we expect minimal impact given the short duration of the outage, we recommend that all inbound Faster Payments are completed before 15:00 or after 19:00 on Friday 10 January.

Please note that you will still be able to make outbound faster payments during this window.

We apologise for any inconvenience, this upgrade will lead to a significant reduction in future scheduled outages affecting payments.

Investigating - One of our banking partners is experiencing a degradation of service, this is impacting the following:

- Inbound and Outbound bank transfers.
- New account sign up.
- Card related features (activate, freeze/thaw, get PIN) in the Countingup app.
- Display of new transactions in the Countingup app will be delayed.

Other Countingup app features are not impacted.

We are working with the banking partner to identify the issue and resolve this as quickly as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience and will update this page once we have further information.
